Jennifer McCollum introduces Max as the SPCA of the Triad Pet of the Week.
When Max was only about a week old, he along with his siblings, was placed in a trash bag and discarded at a public landfill. Luckily, an SPCA volunteer happened to be at the landfill that day and heard the puppies crying. She and her husband rescued the pups, probably just minutes before asphyxiation set in. The SPCA rallied volunteers who took the puppies in and bottle feed them. Today, seven weeks later, Max (along with his siblings) has grown to be the loving and handsome pup you see her today. We like to say that Max has a buddha nature--serene and at peace with all living souls he meets. He's ready for a forever home--a true miracle!
You can apply to adopt Max on line at www.triadspca.org. He is neutered, up to date on his shots and comes with a free leash and collar.
