Strut -A -Mutt is a group of brave - hearted souls who rise from their cozy beds on Sunday mornings to take a SPCA shelter dog to Guilford Battleground Park.

We meet at the SPCA Center at 8:30 a.m., check out a dog, and convene at the park for a two mile walk. Grown ups, kids, dogs -- we all have a great time together.

The dogs are loaded into the SPCA transport van (which meets you at the park at 10:30) and taken back to the SPCA, utterly happy.

Chewie (named by the Strut-A-Mutt crowd--mostly because the other dogs like to "chew" on him) shows off his new bandanna. SPCA volunteer, Gloria, made these great-looking capes for the mutts to wear to the park. Thank you Gloria for making the guys look so handsome! We'll inaugurate the bandannas on the next Strut, coming up on July 26.
