Feral Cat Trap-Neuter-Return

To prevent feral (not tame) cat colonies from continuing to multiply, the SPCA of the Triad offers free spay/neuter surgeries and rabies shots for feral cats. Caregivers should call 336-375-3222 to make an appointment.

We loan humane cat traps for this purpose. Please let us know that you need a trap(s) when you make your appointment with our clinic. There is a $60 deposit to be paid at the time of rental, which is returned to you when the trap is returned in working order, within 2 weeks.

Trap reservations are required as we have a limited supply available.

Please note that the sterilized and vaccinated feral cats will need to be returned to their current habitat (where you trapped them) to live out their natural lifespan as they cannot be adopted into homes.
